There is a major flaw in copyright claiming on YouTube; when a claim is solely based on visual content despite there being overlaid audio of commentary, news reporting and criticism, it completely undermines the basis of fair use.

My opinion...get rid of the automated system with verifying copyrighted material and go back to a copyright security team. By that, a team of people.

We don't know how many copyright claims are made in a day, because of that uncertainty and human bias, it may not be possible to have a team of people that look into copyright claims.
