For anyone who doesn't think inclusion in the software industry is an issue, consider that "master"/"slave" is still common terminology in tons of tools and infrastructure.

I don’t understand why master and slave is considered non inclusive? Who is being excluded here?

Well it’s estimated to be around 10k years old and people of all nations have been slaves. Criminals. Prisoners of War. Christians, Jews, Europeans, Asians, Africans, Indians the list goes on.
