"I live on the other side of the faith debate from Michael but that doesn’t prevent intense admiration of his insight, clarity, courage, honesty, integrity, and wit. A fine advocate for the best of Christian thought."

I've lived in Toronto more than 30 years, and we've raised four children here. The city is in trouble and needs more than "business as usual" politicians. This is very good news indeed. #TorontoMayor

Michael Coren is the most obvious sell-out using this process.
Their brand lasts for years and they can be trotted out endlessly when needed to undermine conservatives.

Today is the anniversary of the death of my great-uncle who spent 4 years in the Red Army in WW2. Lots of medals, promoted to major. When he got home in late 1945 he found that most of his family had been murdered in the Holocaust. He seldom spoke of it.

Thought you believed it’s God that judges people. You seem to be a sanctimonious, judgemental bigot. Exactly why people have turned away from the self righteous people that preach this stuff.

I take no position on the monarchy as such, entirely respect those who are royalists, and think King Charles has many qualities. But I do question the place of a king, any earthly king, within a Christian context.

Because they cherry-pick texts that seem to support their prejudices, usually out of context and often without understanding. For example, the Bible hardly mentions abortion or same-sex relationships - and then ambiguously. It speaks of the poor 2000 times!

Why do so many of the very vocal Christians…
Condemn people for falling foul of passages in the bible
But completely ignore the one that says a camel has a greater chance of passing through the eye of a needle, than a rich person does of entering heaven?

After the final service at St. Elizabeth's Anglican in Burlington. So many emotions. But we continue, joining with another church to form a new community living and preaching the Gospel every day. Thank God!

Today we celebrate the final service at St. Elizabeth's Anglican in Burlington. Soaked in prayer and love, it lives on in partnership with Holy Cross as a new, vibrant Christian community. But there will, of course, be mixed emotions. Been an honour to serve.

Once again I grasp on to the idea (dream?) than #Tottenham will be so embarrassed by the last game and so eager that they will play beautifully and win. But just in case ... I'm drinking scotch two hours before kick-off.

My ambition is to be one of those people who nod enthusiastically behind politicians when they make banal speeches, whatever the content. MPs and MPPs seem very adept, but activists and campaigners also impress. Are there classes?

Except those are not real Catholics but of different religion with zero understanding of Catholicism who need education on God and its rules on sin. They practice lies which are a betrayal to God who need to go back to religion school and both of them and yourself should repent.

Visited someone in hospital. Man in next room shouted that I'd stolen his sausages, tried to get out of bed to fight me. A nurse calmed him. "Was it sausages?" Yes, I replied. "Last week he tried to throw a full bedpan at a rabbi over some stolen cheese."

Kate was such a gifted, kind, and beautiful person. I remember the movies, the visits to galleries, the meals, her being there for my baptism back in 1984. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon her.

Lucy’s dad is a liberal heretic, who is anti-truth, & anti-God. He goes away from the true church multiple times (the last time being permanent because of his unBiblical stance on marriage), & joins a dying church (2040 is its death date according to the study done by the ACoC).
