I have put forward legislation in line with @SenateGOP proposal to bolster our response efforts. In a time of crisis, we should come together to provide our country with the resources it needs to fight this invisible enemy. Alas, @HouseDemocrats don't seem up to the task.
My legislation would provide $29 billion for developing additional medical countermeasures and vaccines, including:
$2 billion for the Strategic National Stockpile.
$20 billion for the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority.
This House continues to waste its time on partisan bills that will be dead on arrival in the Senate instead of delivering results for Americans.
You act like we don't know what's going on. Do not confuse us with what's left of your base.
