I used to serve federal process in D.C., and I think it'd only take one White House staffer being taken into custody by U.S. marshals for ignoring a subpoena for Trump and his minions to understand that Rule of Law is not a drinking game

Rod Rosenstein, who oversaw Mueller probe, repeatedly assured Trump that he would be treated fairly, that he wasn't a "target" and that he was on the president's team. At one point last fall, he grew emotional and begged not to be fired by Trump via tweet.

It's surprising that Trump even watched the draft. He usually just dodges them.

Schiff: "Russians were engaged in a systemic effort to interfere in our election; that the Trump campaign welcomed it, embraced it, built it into their plan, made full use of it, lied about it, covered it up, and then obstructed the investigation into it."

Not sure people around the President understand that 40 government officials were jailed or indicted as a result of Watergate. 40.

If Trump were serious about ending the opioid crisis, he wouldn’t have initially appointed a 24 year-old Trump campaign worker with no professional experience (other than organizing a fraternity golf tournament) to help lead the government’s response.

William Barr has charged a Massachusetts judge and an officer of the court with OBSTRUCTION after they didn’t turn a defendant over to ICE - which was completely within their discretion. A case study that highlights the complete politicization of the DOJ:

The only ways to improve on Joe Biden’s otherwise perfect rollout would be: Don’t laugh about women you mistreated, do actually apologize to Anita Hill, don’t do a big CEO fundraiser the day you announce, and don’t defend billionaires as one of your first orders of business.

Much safer would be for states to direct their Electors to cast no votes for any candidate who failed to disclose tax returns before the November election. That’s less vulnerable to constitutional attack because of Art II §1 cl 3’s express delegation to state legislatures

Since the 2016 election, it has grown increasingly clear that allowing young, mostly male technologists to build largely unregulated, proprietary, international networks might have been a large-scale, high-stakes error in judgment.

Such a brilliant strategy. After Trump’s comments yesterday, they now need to get him to commit to not opening unpredicated investigations for the purpose of attacking Trump’s perceived enemies. Hard to believe this is actually a thing.

Make each one an exhibit with its own number. Barr's statement on the left; true statement on the right. Make each lie from the press conferences or other letters an exhibit, too. Remember: DO NOT ASK "WHY."

Tip for : Go thru each of the misrepresentations in Barr's letter. Establish that he wrote X; then read Y, entire sentence or passage from Mueller report. Don't ask him "why" he wrote it that way; just go on to the next. Do the same for his press conference lies.
