Initially, I heard Yanny, and needed to play at +95% to hear Laurel (with a hint at 75%). The second time through at 75%. A few more run throughs and I hear Laurel at normal speed, and I _cannot_ hear Yanny.https://twitter.com/jessicapolka/status/996572453282381824 …
When I don't listen for a minute or two, I started hearing Yanny at normal speed, but Laurel at +20% speed. Then back to Laurel at normal speed. Perception is so amazingly malleable!
I know! I also heard Yanny at first at the normal pitch, now can only hear Laurel there...amazed by how confidently I felt/feel about what I'm hearing even with strong evidence to the contrary
It's rather humbling.
