What, if anything, lies beyond language? Are there modes of thought and communication that are strictly more powerful than language? Can we invent new forms as much more powerful than verbs and nouns (etc) as human language is more powerful than the communications of chimps?
Language embodies lots of shared cultural context. So I'm not sure I see the distinction.

A conlang might come into this world without "batteries included." One could argue that it's a more impoverished natural language than the same language after a few years, after people have spoken in it, argued in it, written poems in it, molded it to fit their use
