Are there any good books/other content on how to write well you'd recommend?

I've read a heap. Benefited from pretty much all, but also none particularly stands out. Maybe Stephen King's "On Writing" or Anne Lammott's "Bird By Bird", or John McPhee's recent book on writing whose name I can never remember. (Good book, incredible writer, maybe a bad title.)

Do you feel that you can accurately convey many types of messages in this format though? Even if well constructed, the room for factual discussion is limited imo. Too much ambiguity leads to too many misunderstandings if the other person doesn't already agree
