In your haste to shame the scooter company, did you even notice the car illegally blocking the pedestrian right-of-way right in front of you? We're so desensitized to the mode of transport that kills/injures people in SF every single day, that's it's easy to miss.

Did you not notice pedestrians crossing in both directions? Who's got the light?? Bad place for scooter. Who leaves it like that?
The brake line on the scooter has been cut (see the red dangling cord). It was likely left there by a vandal.
