I often think about the dilution of the word "community" (which once meant a set of people you had to deal with for better or worse because you shared the same space) but yeah FB is not even *a* public space, it's a public Hilbert space with arbitrarily many public subspaces.
A Caltech friend: "Caltech may be the only University to make quantum mechanics a requirement for undergrads. It's definitely the only University where the quantum mechanics requirement is less feared than the physical education requirement."
