At rush hour in SF I’m not sure Lyft is any faster than walking. Things you forget when you don’t live in the city.

Aren't they just super dangerous? Can't imagine using one safely in London....
Yeah - having had some close shaves on bikes in the past, I'm most inclined to ride them along dedicated bike paths. I live on the Bay in SF, and there's a great trail round the Bay, so it's a pretty good setup.

London has a long way to go before becoming a cycle (or scooter) friendly city.... That said, often the appearance of a popular product that people want to use can be a driving force for such a change!
