Does anyone out there in the Twitterverse regularly achieve a > 2/3 ratio of Pomodoro-time to nominal-total-working-time? If so, I would love to hear about your approach and about the nature of your work!

Can you suggest a good place for me to read about Grothendieck's working practices? I scanned a few biographical articles just now and didn't find anything relevant. (Also, drugs and mental illness can allow longer focused stretches, but require longer down-time afterwards.)

Right - originally I wrote "deliberate practice" instead of "top work", but then that made it sound like I wasn't talking about real work... Not sure what the right way to express the idea is. I know I can work as a manager for 10+ hours - that's very different!
