Does anyone out there in the Twitterverse regularly achieve a > 2/3 ratio of Pomodoro-time to nominal-total-working-time? If so, I would love to hear about your approach and about the nature of your work!

I believe nearly all research into top performers supports the idea that >4 hours top work per day can't be done

There are counterexamples: Grothendieck. But, yeah, the examples I've seen all lean toward 4ish. Admittedly, that's for a few types of work, usually very creatively focused, very intense. And see the last phrase in the last sentence of Andy's question.

Echoes what Cal Newport (author of Deep Work) claims as well. 4-5 hours of deep focus on a task at the edge of your abilities (over flow activities that are more in your comfort zone).
