If you don’t disagree with something on your Twitter timeline every time you log in you need to increase the diversity of people you follow.

Why? I realize this is conventional wisdom (though perhaps not so much acted on), but: Twitter is a low quality source of disagreement. I'd rather find much higher-quality sources. Eg, reading Hayek changed my thinking about markets, not libertarian thought-leaders on Twitter

I disagree with you that Twitter is a low quality source of disagreement. The people I follow that I disagree with generally link to articles, books and evidence- and they generally agree about how to arrive at rational ideas, which is why their disagreement is important.
