Twitter has made a huge positive impact on my life. Lots of people complain about it, so I wanted to write some notes about how I use it. Love to hear others' strategies too.

How do you filter out all of the noise?

I practically only follow ML researchers and my feed is still full of politics, cat pictures and self promotion.

Then unfollow the people who tweet mainly politics, cat pictures, and self promotion. There's a lot of people who don't.
