From Egan, I would select Diaspora and Schild's Ladder. I would also add Blindsight and Echopraxia by Watts. Lady of Mazes by Schroeder. From Vinge: Zones of Thought and Peace Wars+Marooned in Realtime. The first 1/3 of Accelerando by Stross. All, had a significant impact for me
