How do you go about turning down cold intros? On principle I think it's really a good thing when people are ballsy enough to do it, but you also can't say yes to all of them because time is finite. Fine line to toe without discouraging the practice overall...
"I'm afraid I don't have time for this at the moment." Surprisingly often, the person is under a misapprehension about your interests. You can just say "I don't actually work on / have an interest in X. So I won't have time for this at the moment."
