Always remember that any "advice" you get comes with all their biases baked into it. Yes, the advice could be useful and coming from experience, wisdom, etc. etc. But baked in there is usually at least some bias, and it's important to factor that in, and then think for yourself.

A lot of advices are also correlative factors that aren't the critical ones that contribute to the eventual result.
