I wish manufacturers provided this routinely, instead of the BS they usually prefer. Being honest and direct and detailed is a kind of marketing superpower.
Actually, come to think of it, Steve Jobs sort of did do this kind of thing at product launches. With some BS, as well, but he was pretty good at explaining what was actually interesting about something, without just going "Oh, look! A feature!"
