90 million sounds like a lot of money, so let’s use comparative numbers: You could fund more that 150 projects like the Falcon with the money invested in Uber.
According to Wikipedia, the Falcon 1 cost $90 million to develop. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falcon_1 Which is a lot of money, but for a functioning space program seems remarkably inexpensive. Not quite a small group project, but not that far beyond, either.
