Unspoofable GPS could fix so many issues, including Bitcoin power consumption. Is it possible? Time of flight from a satellite? Unique cosmic radiation values?

Just moves the centralization to the point of GPS verification... what you’re really asking for is a location specific hash function in nature.
I wonder what it would take to build an open, decentralized GPS system? Perhaps with some ground-based elements?
