Depends on the context, no? With close friends, in intimate conversation, that's often not true, for instance. Also find it v. helpful in writing for myself.

I can't say I've kept a tally, but my subjective sense is that it's a minority. Admittedly, that may be because occasions when beliefs are shared sincerely by friends really stand out in my memory.
