yes, but works till 3-1. Median teacher salary ~54k. NY state median cost per kid ~22k. Spend 70% of day in 3-1, rest on studying/projects.
Quibble: that's the minimum teacher salary in NY, not the median, which looks to be more like $70k.
That said, your point that other overhead appears to dominate salaries (at least in NY) is very interesting in the context of Bloom.

Good question. Wouldn't be surprised if 2 or 3 hours of 3-1 tutoring was vastly superior to 6 hours of classes.
