I sometimes wonder whether Twitter has taken its place but realize instead it's merely taken on a similar but scarier/worse role
Twitter has some advantages. I've met many wonderful people here. I think of Twitter as online advertising for an amazing offline experience

Yes! As the ole adage goes: Facebook is for the friends you already know, Twitter is for the friends you want to know
