The human mind (mine too) loves narratives. Stories. Stories are illusion. They are so powerful they invite delusion. What’s a workaround?

Lots of cases where science trumped story (relativity, evolution, vitalism etc). Failing that:
"What's a different story about that?" Once I have 2-3 good but differing stories it's easy to remember they're just stories
