Pruning the people I follow, but can't seem to find the "unfollow all ads" button -- biggest source of irrelevant content.
@immunoglobulin "Block and report for spam" seems the most appropriate action. Only real diff from spam is Twittr gets $.

@michael_nielsen to me they're mostly not spam, just irrelevant. Whenever I dismiss/mark something, another irrelevant ad takes its place. -
@immunoglobulin I guess I think of spam as "unsolicited intrusive product placement", so for me it fits the bill.
