@webyrd Oh, yes! That I definitely think is right. Strictly-better-than-paper is a bar none of our media have come close to clearing!

@michael_nielsen I agree! I have hundreds of research notes full of shorthand. Still better for short-term memory than anything electronic.

@michael_nielsen There is also an attention aspect. So many interesting ideas, things to read, etc., that I only come back to semi-randomly

@webyrd It'd be nice to have cognitive media that do a _good_ job structuring our thoughts (not delivering ad $)

@michael_nielsen Including structuring attention. Example: reminder that you thought old article was interesting, in context of current work

@webyrd The emacs Remembrance Agent used to try to do that. So did Devon Think. Neither designed for easy sharing.
