It's a common trope that programming is the new literacy. But it'd be much more interesting for interface design to be the new literacy.

@michael_nielsen I said the same thing to@peterseibel (an English major). Interestingly, he said it felt similar to writing prose.
@posco @peterseibel Seems to require combination of deep thought about user psychology (much like writing), & abstraction design (like math)
