@michael_nielsen as in, every layer has input vector, weight vector, makes output vector with an f_w(x). At backprop computes local deltas
@karpathy BTW, I really enjoy your networks-in-the-browser. Very fun stuff! And has some amazing potential uses as a learning tool, I think
