I have been coding a lot in the last couple of weeks using and I have to say that it is utterly amazing. If someone told me "this system is reading your mind" I would believe them if I didn't know better.

The code isn't always correct, but it very often recommends an entire function that I was planning to write. and gone are the days of writing my own docstrings - just tab forward while it generates the docstring for you, almost always with correct parameter descriptions

My coding productivity has at least doubled if not more. At the same time, I am not worried about it taking my job away. The recommendations are almost always about relatively obvious stuff (and in fact that's often the source of its errors).

I think we are pretty far away from a system that can take as input "solve complex data science problem X" and produce a robust and meaningful solution. (I'm sure will disagree with that claim...)
