It would likely cut CO2 emissions by about 2/3. The US emits about 17 tonnes / capita per year, while nuclear-serious developed economies (France, Sweden, say) typically emit more like 5 tonnes / capita. This would help considerably. Of course, there's other greenhouse gases.
Incidentally, changing from coal/oil to nuclear entirely is not likely a viable goal. There's plenty of things (plastics is a huge one) where no such switch is known to be possible. Still, as France & Sweden (and a few other places) have shown, being serious about nuclear helps.
