What’s the best thing you’ve read or listened to relating to the “noosphere” or concept of a global brain?

I read part of Teilhard de Chardin's book on it, crouching in the library stacks, as a teenager. I remember the book as pretty weird and wild and interesting. IIRC it was "The Phenomenon of Man", though Wikipedia suggests "Cosmogenesis".
Related: I recommend Joel de Rosnay's book "The Macroscope". Not about the noosphere, but definitely related. The author has an English translation online somewhere, Google will know where.
