      Not the original, but Tyler did put T-4 in his list of the best movies of 2014: https://marginalrevolution.com/marginalrevolution/2014/11/the-best-films-of-2014.html … I like RotF as well. I was anticipating the Bumblebee movie - and enjoyed it - but actually it wasn't as good...

      naw no way Bumblebee would be -- my rule for fantasy book series applies here too: NEVER TRUST NOVELLAS! those spinoffs are just meant to milk a franchise, extract from not give back to fans

      Funny thing is, Michael Bay didn't direct. And it was critically lauded (Rotten Tomatoes was 92%), unlike the Transformers movies. But it just lacked something. The trailer was great...
