Fun question: someone comes to you, asking for papers/books they should read. You are only allowed to say, "Go read everything ____ has ever written".
Who do you choose? (ht to @JaminSpeer, who I tried to quote tweet, but it failed for some reason)

PG. I think before YC, before startups felt as part of the zeitgeist to people around me, his writing was a massive breath of fresh air to see the world as mutable. It also put the programmer on a pedestal, which always felt powerful. There’s also a cleanliness to his writing.

The other person obviously is Fitzgerald. I think most people have read Gatsby in High School, but between his short stories and non-fiction (not even mentioning his other actual books), Fitzgerald has an assassin-like ability to pick the perfect word at the perfect time.
