Funny to think Game Neverending -> Flickr & Slack -> Facebook, Instagram, (probably) WhatsApp and many others. So they sorta did.
I feel like it has already started. Nowadays most of the app are filled with animation, graphics and engaging flows. It is just a matter of time when SpriteKit will converge to UIKit or vice-versa.
