I can't imagine that while casting Ridley Scott said "I know, we'll get Rutger Hauer, he's just the guy we need to improve the most important part of the script..."
... but no one will go deleting the original from anywhere. Movies are namespaced, there'll be no masking. Even if only a micro joke half works, even if one person feels curious and checks the original, wouldn't we all be better off?
