I think there’s a big opportunity for a gamified, social spaced repetition app. Ideally would have an API so websites could add new cards to your stacks in one click. Imagine reading a great blog post and being able to instantly add its insights to your spaced repetition system.

Premade decks are the ancient monetization dream of SRS authors since the Ancestor Wozniak, and has disappointed since then as well. It seems like it should work, but doesn't in practice so far, although
@michael_nielsen's quantum mechanics text is a new stab at it.
