I've found that writing and organizing bullet point notes helps keep the "truth" more intact. Once we have a hierarchy of such notes, we can carefully choose to expand/aggregate them into prose.
Interesting tip. I find bullet points good for making it clear what my distinct thoughts are. And for applying gradient ascent to those thoughts!
