Incidentally, I read most (I believe) of the related GH comments. Very interesting to see the different viewpoints, & to guess at the underlying mental models. The entitlement many people feel, & the rudeness of some, was disturbing, especially in light of all your contributions
Yeah, I was surprised at how many people thought I just woke up one day like "hurr durr I can run ads and make some easy money lolz". If I wanted to make an easy $2k, enraging half the programming world would not be my first choice for how to do it.
