(BTW, I love your observation! Related: I s'times think of Reddit as a kind of efficient market for all possible obvious responses to something. Just scroll down & all the obvious comments will be made somewhere. It's a machine for generating the convex hull of obvious responses.
(Well, the extreme points, and some interior points as well. You have to interpolate the rest yourself...)
