A few I haven’t seen mentioned in the thread: David Hilbert, Warren Weaver, Alonzo Church, Paul Samuelson, Milton Friedman, Gertrude Stein, Roger Penrose, Gottfried Leibniz, and Frank Ramsey.
Interesting suggestions. Curious: did Church enable multiple fields? Or Stein? Penrose is a really interesting suggestion. Quite a few of your suggestions are linked to Keynes in some way, who is also an example.

re Church, his work and ensemble seems mostly in computing, logic, maths, and philosophy, but with a few high impact polymaths (e.g. Turing, Smullyan). I think I included him almost counterfactually: born 20 years later, I see him involved broadly in AI à la Minsky

re Stein, I think she enabled an influential set of literary and visual artists. I don’t think her own content rates in the same way, but she seems to have raised the profile of “forward looking” artists of ongoing influence (she may have pushed duds, too; not sure)
