I don't know what you mean. Thousands of people have MInsky's level of position and fame. I doubt 20 have his taste in or ability to enable students.

Be interesting to look at Minsky’s contemporaries to compare. Probably some effects to being very early in what will be a very big field. What would be another more recent equivalent? Genomics?
