Unpopular opinion: Video conferencing is more productive than meeting in-person. Easier to stay on topic. Harder to get distracted.
Being distracted is underrated as a goal. Being productive is overrated as a goal. Almost all the best ideas come out of being distracted and unproductive.

There's an amusing Freeman Dyson quote where he says Oppenheimer's great weakness was that he was too productive. I agree, but find that so many new ideas can be distracting from being productive on any single idea. I find I am usually flush with good ideas and wishing I could reach a productive state long enough to make one a reality.

I don’t agree with the distracted part. Unproductive yes. But distracted means being distracted from inner thoughts too.
