Have any aphantastics tried visual mnemonic techniques, like the method of loci, memory palaces, etc? Do they work at all for you?

I do this but with real loci (or objects) not imagined. Deuteronomy 6:8-9
A friend recently told me that she listens to audio books while walking. When she walks through the same locations again the content of the audio book comes back.

Have had exactly the same experience when listening to audio tracks (music/podcasts) but associating with places, paths and objects in a virtual open world (WoW) back when I was 13ish and would sometimes consciously/not rewalk thru path to reaccess memories.

Sometimes when I drive or walk through a particular location I have a mild auditory flashback to the song I was listening to the last time I was there.
