Have any aphantastics tried visual mnemonic techniques, like the method of loci, memory palaces, etc? Do they work at all for you?

(My mind has been a little blown by the fact that some other aphantastics replying apparently _can_ use method of loci like techniques.)

I do this but with real loci (or objects) not imagined. Deuteronomy 6:8-9

A friend recently told me that she listens to audio books while walking. When she walks through the same locations again the content of the audio book comes back.
