Everyone’s trying to read faster. I’m trying to read slower. Nothing better than being so inspired by a book that you have to put it down. That’s what reading is all about. Read slower, not faster.

A model I like - it's not literally correct - is that you want to only read books that are so good you'll want to read them multiple times. So, in the ideal, you'd never read a book once, just zero or two or more times.
