The first paragraph and especially the first sentence are very striking. Simple, but foundational, and so from these assertions a tremendous number of consequences will flow, if they are taken seriously.

It only just occurred to me, but there is an obvious connection between Bauhaus and @dynamicland1.

I think to be able to be artisan (now & historically) it took a great act of defiance of the narrative that connection only comes through other people. Most truly great creators discovered that the same deep sense of being can be found in every little part of true creativity.
