I do really miss searchability! Something I like: paper is append-mainly. Which is, now that I think of it, a kind of ephemerality, though different than what you mean. Also love the flexibility of paper. SO a lot of the values are the same, just expressed differently.

Paper is tangible and textured and open-ended, and even shows age/wear/use/revisions in ways so different from digital apps, essentially impossible to duplicate. I love both, differently.
