I’m surprised more shows and films don’t make it easier to share screenshots and GIFs from their work given how crowded the marketplace is. Such a simple way to get a distribution edge. Same for podcasts, it’s so hard to share an excerpt.
Yep. Wasted a few hours trying to do this with a video game screenshot a few weeks ago. Gave up & used a game with a creative commons license instead.

In fact Twitch did exactly this as a distribution channel. Look at all their tools for instantly grabbing and sharing clips from live-streams.
