It does this by building in spaced-repetition study. As you read you're tested on what you've read. This helps you consolidate the information, and be sure you've understood the basic content.pic.twitter.com/HQnhCHI4qK

Then, in followup sessions you'll be re-tested. By spacing the sessions appropriately, you'll consolidate the ideas in the essay into long-term memory.

This is a first stab at developing a mnemonic medium. We're hopeful we can make it a lot better. It's part of a larger research project, aimed at developing new media forms for augmenting human intelligence.
